Flight-delayed.co.uk: 3 questions for the UK Government about aviation

<p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-d46fb8a6-b939-e6b7-d4a7-3db6a275e262"><img alt="Famous red British telephone box " src="/uploads/2016/10/red-england-great-britain-call-box.jpg" style="width: 750px; height: 500px;" /></span></strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong><span>UK: Prime Minister Theresa May stated that her majesty&#39;s Government would not provide a running commentary on the process of Brexit (British exit from the EU). </span></strong></p><p dir="ltr"><span id="docs-internal-guid-d46fb8a6-b939-e6b7-d4a7-3db6a275e262">That is all good and well but we now&nbsp;know that&nbsp;the formal process of triggering article 50 (the legislation that allows a country to leave the EU) will take place in March 2017, leaving the UK Government little time to provide answers to much-asked questions. </span></p><p dir="ltr"><span id="docs-internal-guid-d46fb8a6-b939-e6b7-d4a7-3db6a275e262">Of course, here at flight-delayed.co.uk, we are flat out biased towards the situation. Without the legislation that protects passenger rights, we may become redundant very quickly. </span></p><p dir="ltr"><span id="docs-internal-guid-d46fb8a6-b939-e6b7-d4a7-3db6a275e262">So, if we had two minutes for a chat and a cup of tea with the newly appointed PM, here is what we would ask:</span></p><ol style="list-style-type:decimal;"> <li dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-d46fb8a6-b939-e6b7-d4a7-3db6a275e262">How will the Government ensure that UK airlines can still operate freely within the European Union?</span></strong></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" value="2"> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-d46fb8a6-b939-e6b7-d4a7-3db6a275e262">If, in relation to question one, this needs to be negotiated, how can the Government ensure that it will be done without delay?</span></strong></p> </li> <li dir="ltr" value="3"> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-d46fb8a6-b939-e6b7-d4a7-3db6a275e262">After Britain leaves the EU, will the Government remain committed to implementing the strategies for a Single European sky? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong></p> </li> </ol><p><span id="docs-internal-guid-d46fb8a6-b939-e6b7-d4a7-3db6a275e262">I very much doubt that if the PM reads this she is going to get on the blower to answer these questions, but a lot more will be fired her way between now and March 2017. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><div><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-27d88830-9d59-db5d-3457-0999844c8b91">Written by:&nbsp;</span><a href="https://www.flight-delayed.com/" target="_blank">Team Flight-Delayed.com</a>&nbsp;</strong></div>
