Air Europa to focus on expanding their Latin American routes

Starting in June, Air Europa will offer direct flights to Panama and connecting flights, via partners, to other Latin American cities. The Hub of the Americas, as Panama’s international airport is known, provides passengers with the highest number of possible destinations in the region. The total of routes is 81 and you can reach 33 different countries on the continent.

Air Europa’s newest partner: Copa Airlines

Copa Airlines will be in charge of flying the Spanish airline’s passengers to their final destination in Latin America. These new destinations include Guatemala City, San Salvador, Managua and San José. All major cities in Central America.

Air Europa will try to claim some share of the long-haul low-cost segment market. Competing directly against the likes of KLM, Iberia and, of course, the big 3 from the United States of America.

Copa Airlines’ passengers will gain acces to Air Europa’s Madrid hub

When flying the opposite way and when connecting in Madrid, Copa’s passengers will be able to reach 23 destinations in Spain and a further 15 in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
